Okay, I understood about three words of it but got the gist of the story. That had to be the cutest rendition of St. John's imprisonment and the wicked woman who demanded his head on a platter I've ever heard.

I think that little girl was amazed she didn't pick out gold instead of something so yucky as a dead head on a platter...

Great find!

The recordings of the wee kids were done on tape by a teacher in Dublin in I think the 60s. Someone found them not long ago, and they were all broadcast by Irish Radio. I have a CD somewhere of the whole lot. "no bicicyles nor lorries nor nuffing, big stones that'd cut the feet aff'f ye".

I must find out who has that CD ...

That was seriously cute! Even better knowing it was a real kid's spiel, not a scripted piece. Gorgeous! Out of the mouths of babes, indeed.

Jesus fishing while standing on the lake ... very good, folks, very good..
