iChristmas...

iBreviary hits iTunes, EWTN's coverage of Papal Midnight Christmas Mass [click for coverage schedule], and lastly there is a live Webcast showing Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity and the adjoining Manger Square on iPray Tv.

The problem, or OK my problem, with this iBreviary thing is that if the text in English is the vapid LOTH version of the prayers and the "is this really scripture?" version of the bible (i.e. the NAB) then I really am not interested. I already have a set of LOTH that I've tried several times to enter into but one year through that was enough. I am sure our priests do it as penance for something horrid. I'm waiting on the Roman Breviary to forthcoming from Baronius Press and my guess is it will be a long time before that hits iAnything.

Again, Merry Christmas. I'll stop obfuscating now and go enjoy the day.
