Thanks for the info.

Three Sundays ago, there appeared an ADORABLE young sailor at Mass at my parish. He's just out of boot camp (or maybe just on a weekend pass) - he only has one ribbon, a National Defense ribbon.
After Mass two weeks ago, he was sitting in the pew praying a Rosary. As I walked by his pew, I handed him a Father Vincent holy card (I keep a bunch on hand for just such situations) and asked if he knew who Father Vincent was. He said no and I gave him a brief little bio, and he was so genuinely touched. And precious. Did I mention he was praying the rosary?
I wanted to invite him to breakfast after Mass last week, but he wasn't there.

May Father Capodanno protect us as much as he did his Marines and Corpsmen.

The Grunt Padre still watches after his flock.

Ora pro nobis, Pater.

Welllll, "picking him up" as in I wanted to be a substitute Mama for him - ya know, make sure he ate, wore his scarf and galoshes, etc.
