Girl, you're gonna burn! (j/k - I bought my tickets yesterday.)
Harry Potter is about on the same level as liturgical beauty in terms of the follower-loss effect.
However, if you talk about how beautiful the architecture of Hogwarts is, and how it is a shining example of the baseline of how a Catholic Church should be designed, you can lose twice the amount of followers!

This is a big debate in our homeschool group as well. There are some very strong believers in the "evil" of this series.
I guess I just think it's a good story. Like Santa Claus is a good story. I don't pass it off to my kids as though it's real (sshhh....don't tell them I said that).
