I try to pray a rosary daily and read a chapter out of the Gospels before bedtime. As a "real-worlder", you aren't expected to be like a monk or nun in your prayer life, but we should try to make progress in the spiritual life as best we can. Grace is a work in progress.

CC, we're all broken. In a way that is comforting to me; not that I have company but that I'm the sort of person that Our Lord came to save.

one of my favorite quotes is that the Church is not a wax museum of saints, but a hospital for sinners. Hang in there.
