Great idea!!
But, man, that looks like a lotta work...my carpal tunnel is making my hands go numb just thinking about it!

I'm thinking of sparing my neighbors the joys of my terrible artisanship and go for symbolism instead.

What about a traditional "jack-o-lantern", but barbecued on both sides with nice big grill marks.

When my kids were young we used to love to carve pumpkins and decorate the front porch to attract all the little trick-or-treaters. Now I find myself doing the minimum and for the first time last year, put up a fake jack-o-lantern.

Now I'm inspired, maybe this year I'll do a Saint...which would irritate the daylights out of my "fallen" husband. Bwahahahaha!

Truly, I am awestruck. (But not talented.) I might, however PAINT a saint on an uncarved pumpkin. Thanks for sharing these! :)
