Cute kid, but does she have a husband she is subjected to or something? I don't "get it" why she needs something on her head.

To "gemoftheocean": Wearing a veil shows humility before Christ. That we do not see ourselves as more glorious than Him. It has nothing to do with being subjected to a husband. I think you may need to do a little more research on why we cover to gain a better understanding. Think of it like this: some Catholics kneel to receive Communion - not because they are being subjugated by the priest, but because they are kneeling before the Real Presence. See what I mean? Anyway, she doesn't "need" something on her head. She chooses to veil- no one makes her do it.
