The source link didn't work, so I had to dig around your source code to figure out who these drag queens were. Alrighty... (heh)

First openly lesbian Swedish woman to be made a "bishop" within the Church of Sweden. Ugh.

1) They have no idea how stupid they look.

2) They have no concept of sacred vestments. Instead, it looks like someone ransacked the local bargain carpet basement, took a pair of scissors to the ugliest lot, and carved out a few capes. Yay, them.

3) Last but certainly not least, their hearts are hardened against God. I know I need to pray for them. Sigh...

P.S. I may do a post spin-off from this on the topic of sacred vestments. Since returning to the Church, I've developed a thing for these beautiful coverings. Your eye-candy, of course, only increased my wonder.

My sentiments exactly Mary Rose. They are stupid and look ridiculous. You know , one of the signs of a false church is when you see a women priest. UGH!!!

The worst part is they have cooler croziers than my real bishop.

I would hesitate to say with certainty that anyone's "heart is hardened against God."

That's bold, and I dare not make that sort of judgment.

My 2p.

(Also, I rather like the silver set! It would be nice for the Octave of Christmas.)

Thom, how would you describe a lesbian who is intent upon living a sinful lifestyle, even though such a lifestyle has been denounced in the Bible? You would not call such a heart hardened against God?

I have hardened heart against God in certain areas in my life and I believe we all do. It is to me, the condition of fallen man. It would be one thing if this woman admitted she struggled with same-sex attraction, but to boldly be living with her partner and then accept a role as a spiritual leader within a Christian church that is to abide by Biblical teaching - well, I can't see any other conclusion than one having a hardened heart.

At least they're not depriving a decent bishop of decent vestments. Look on the bright side, no silk damask or Jap gold was harmed in the taking of this photograph.

Thom, I am agreeing with Mary Rose's sentiments... also Margaret's hilarious observations.

I love an optomist.

Is the one on the left from the Diocese of Lowe's? Geez. I thought us 'Piskies had awful 'with it' vestments.

The one to his right is the lesbian. I don't know who the other one is.
