We are in a cold snap - our high today is not expected to reach 32.
Deeeeear Kat, I don't wish to be politically incorrect by suggesting that there is anything a woman can't do, but be glad you don't live in Minnesota. Our high was about 22. Now this is actually a good thing, because the lower the temperature when snow falls, the lighter the snow is, and easier to move.
Yeah, and just to reiterate "Old Bob", here in Wisconsin, well, 4:30 (when we're SUPPOSED to be up and at 'em) can be...well...hifreakinlarious...if, (cough) you have a sense of humor!!
Yeah--this morning at 5 am it was 14 degrees and the wind was blowing the snow so hard sideways I could hardly see the front end of my car....And my coworkers wonder why this transplanted Californian dreams of palm trees..Sara
It is supposed to be -3 at 6am here tomorrow, and thats before windchill, it was about that today. The high was around 15 today, brr that is cold. So no complaining.
Mitch... it's my schtick. Deal.
Could've been -2 like it was where I live.At subzero temps, your snot freezes.
I lived in Connecticut for several years, and could not believe how much the seminarians (esp. from the South and South America) complained about how "cold" is was...like 30 degrees...yeah, well, I was not sympathetic, at all. Live here in the tundra of Wisconsin and you'll know what cold is...and I mean it.Sorry to be such a poop head!
Nazareth Priest--Sure hope you can wear long johns under your habit....Sara
