My diabetes is courtesy of my mum who is type II . . .she sent us five boxes of Frango chocolate mints, one one pound box of Sees nuts and chews, a myriad of marzapan (which is in the bin, can't stand the stuff), chocolate oranges candy, and tree boxes of Bob's candy canes. Mele Kalikimaka!
See, I don't have a sweet tooth. Instead, I've got the usual cirrhosis and the lousy triglycerides from the drastic intake of cheese balls and pork producrs.Boze Narozdenie!
Bonus: Tooth Decay to boot!
I hate to admit this online, but, yeah, I'm pre-diabetic, if not full throttle (I have been delaying the visit to the dr. and have not been testing my blood...bad priest! Bad priest!).It's hereditary (three of us in our family as well as Mom are diabetic) and I am just holding off on the medicine, whatever...I'm not gorging on sweets but I don't refuse them.Sorry to hear of this for you.But it's something you can live with I guess (I'll tell you for sure when I'm on the meds!). As for the cirrhosis of the liver...time will tell on that one!Merry Christmas, anyhow!
