Fr. Barron was on the faculty of Mundelein Seminary when I was there. He is without a doubt the best teacher I ever had. I am so glad that many more people are going to benefit from his faith, intelligence and ability to communicate the faith.

I never had the opportunity to have Fr Barron as a teacher in the sense that you have Father Mathis. But I agree, that he is one of the best teachers. As a catechist, I use many resources to help me learn and grow in faith. But Father Barron has undoubtedly been the greatest help to me. I am so grateful that he is using every media at his means to evangelize. This ministry deserves our support and prayers. Anyone interested in other aspects of his ministry other than the Catholicism Project should check out Wordonfire.org
Thank you Kat for posting this.
(I believe I told you about this project last year :)

Fr. Barron is awesome, I really enjoy his commentaries on pop culture books/movies on his website. But everytime I see him in a video I think that if you put Rick Steves in clericals and stood him next to Fr. Barron it would be hard to tell them apart.

I think Fr. Barron is awesome too! He gives great insight to books, movies, TV shows, etc. Kathleen, have you seen the resources available from Fr. Barron's WordOnFire.org? He has a great study guide on the Eucharist and the Seven Deadly Sins, Seven Lively Virtues!
