one more day left to vote...

... because I trust none of you have been voting more than once a day. Not you. Surely we have more integrity than that. Nope. No Chicago style voting going on here, folks.

Many blogs have died for your right to vote... exercise your right by voting in the 2010 Cannonball Catholic Blog Awards. God bless America. Amen.

I'm terribly sorry, Kat, but that is the wimpiest depiction of Christ I've ever seen. The much battered old plaster statue of the Sacred Heart that's been sitting around in our family home for the past forty-five years is tougher than that image.

I'm particularly disappointed because of the eagle and American flag inclusion; this cries out for the gun-toting, tattooed biker Jesus that we've had the privilege (!) of beholding on this site, not this ninety-pound weakling in a nightdress.

Americans, you can do better! :-)

Jesus is looking a bit thin, like He might be in danger of becoming a snack for the bald eagle.

Jesus in America didn't mature (body-wise) past the age of 8, apparently.

There's all sorts of wrongness going on here. You can tell it was painted by a Protestant.

I remember some scoffer at John Wright's blog proclaiming, "My holy book is the US Constitution." The only reason my jaw wasn't on the floor was because I was too busy laughing.

Jesus' head looks disproportionately bigger than His body.

And I dislike any artwork that makes Jesus look like He is about to be naturalized and given a small American flag to wave around for a photo-op.
