@3:00 is the best line: "Socrates scores...! And the Germans are disputing it. Hegel is arguing that the reality is merely an a priori adjunct of non-naturalistic ethics, Kant via the categorical imperative is holding that ontologically it exists only in the imagination, and Marx is claiming it was offside."

Classic, sophisticated and educated humor!

Immanuel Kant was real pissant who was very rarely stable...

I was never much of a Monty Python fan, but this is hilarious! Love the halos on Sts. Augustine and Thomas Aquinas. Nice touch. Thanks for posting this, Kat.

MP loved to bring philosophy in for a laugh here and there. One of my favorite bits of theirs was "World Forum", especially the end:

Presenter: One last question, and that lounge suite will be yours ... Who won the FA Cup in 1949?

Karl Marx: The workers control the means of production? The struggle of the urban proletariat?

Presenter: No, it was Wolverhampton Wanderers, who beat Leicester 3-1.

Karl Marx: Aw, shit!

The best part has got to be the halos on the linesmen :)
