Thanks for sharing these! Are the Holy Father and BelGiorgio praying the Rosary in Latin? I could just make out something, and it sounded like it but I suppose it could have been Italian...

I feel bad for the guy, the cameras are never off. Vacation - sheesh - even the bread crumbs for the Koi were prepared and ready. God bless him for sacrificial life for the Bride of Christ.

Andrea, it was German. I heard very distinctly, "Heilge Maria, Mutter Gottes..."

Ohhhhhhhh I don't know which I liked best - the bread for the koi in its linen cover or B16's baseball cap. I feel all warm and happy now for some reason knowing that the Pope feeds the fish.

Beautiful video from the Benedictines at Avignon.

Profound quote from one of the nuns:
..."It's not quite a question of how we FEEL when we sing..but what we are and for WHOM we sing!"

Yes! Let's not sing the subrock junk and get all "jiggy with Jesus" at Mass!

I was at Castel Gandolfo on the 18 and 25 July. The Pope was very relaxed and happy. He looked so good.
Yes, I must say I saw Il Belo too, more then I hoped for. It was a big emotion as his beauty is even more imense that we can imagine. I saw him when they came to Portugal in May but inside the car. Seeing him live and in person is unreal.

Cat;
I know it looks tempting, but you are NOT to visit Blackfriars . . . even if Mgr Georg isn't there, there are still more than a couple of the Brethren I'm not sure I'd trust you alone with ! ;o)
