hell on earth...

... for THREE days I have been walking around with "Gather Us In" stuck in my head. I'm convinced this song is played in hell. For three days I endured. Then Owen came to my rescue. Now I am sharing with you this new technique in "reverse-auditory-melodic-unstickification technology."

So next time you catch yourself thinking "come to the feast of heaven and earth" you can quickly remedy the situation before anyone gets hurt.

google steve colbert's liturgical dance to THE KING of GLORY. It should snap the snappiness out of you.

Oh, you poor thing.
I can somewhat empathize;
"Gather Us In" really has back-masking...
all about Richard McBrien as Pope;
Joan Chittester as co-Popessa;
Eugene Cullen Kennedy (!) as head of the Congregation for the Faith;
and John Allen as the Secretary of State.
No wonder you're in hell.

Kat- Owen's recommended website is interesting, a sort of digital antibiotic for troublesome earworms.

Or you could try a healthy dose of Vitamin M-

If you start having dreams of Stanford Nutting crooning "GUI", you may require an exorcism.

@tubbs, you know I saw that a year ago or so and that silly booger has ruined part of the LOTH for me forever. Do you know how often that psalm is quoted in the LOTH? Curses on Colbert. OK, ok, I feel somewhat better now.

NOOO!

Merely mentioning "Gather Us In" is enough to get the wretched thing stuck in my head. Fortunately, it has been translated to Latin:

"Gather Us In" has some pretty cool guitar parts though.. :)

I'm not focusing on the words when I have to do all those snappy chord changes and strumming patterns.. :)
