That's amazing! Lace is beautiful in and of itself, but painting it is almost miraculos!

Nice! The draftsmanship is superb, and the overall look is almost photographic. I prefer representational art, the more realistic the better. Never heard of La Touche; his style is certainly counter to the impressionist, pointillist, and abstract schools in 1890s French art.
