Kitties needs a home...

... I have a friend leaving shortly for Belmont Abbey to start his novitiate. He has two cats that need to find homes. With no prospects, he may have to take them to a local animal shelter. Please, if you live in North Carolina or really anywhere within driving distance [parts of VA and SC] and can find some space in your home and hearts for two lovable kitties contact me at the_crescat@yahoo.com.

And here is where I tug on your heart strings... aren't they cute, brothers Thomas & Aquinas. Aw.

Awwwww. I wish I could take them home, but I'm in Texas and my apartment won't let me have pets
:(

We already have two cats in addition to not being near you, but they are adorable and well named.

I was thinking of going to Belmont Abby myself, but I'd have to find a home for Buster. And he's high maintenance.

I wish I could take them. If I was the Abbot of Belmont he wouldn't be able to enter until after the cats were settled, together - in a good home. He is responsible for them

I wish. :( We're close, but we already have a kitten and a dog, and I hope to go to boot camp with a friend soon. They're so cute!

I'd take them if I did not already have 2 animals in my home. But as someone who has had several orange male cats, I would highly recommend these kitties. The orange males are generally very social and affectionate. I'm sure you'll find a home for them.

Yeah, like I said before in the other thread,I really really want them but I have certain circumstances that do not allow for that right now and the fact I don't live close by. :(

Lovely kitties btw.

Pray for good homes for these lovable kitties! I'm with Terry--he needs to make sure these sweet guys are settled with someone FIRST before entering the abbey.

If I weren't all the way up in Indiana and didn't already have two cats...I'm there.

Even though I live in the UK I might be tempted......... unfortunately I'm not sure what the Abbot of St. Michaels in California, the Prior of the Carmalite Monastary in Wyoming or the Abbot of Faghnborough abby would think...... not to mention my mom and the fact that I'd have to leave them in quarantine at heathrow for a year

ps I am still allive it just I don't get to use a computer here in wisconsin as often as I do back home

What handsone red-haired laddies!!

However I already have three cats of my own...and have to tread very cautiously as I am in Crazy Cat Lady land...folks already know I'm crazy enough without the kitty baggage..

I wish. I'd take them in a hearbeat, but I'm married to Mr. Cat Allergy.

Doesn't the monastery need a cat or two? Something to sit and watch those goldfish in the fountain out front all day long?
