prayer request...

... my kitty is still not doing well. About 2 weeks ago he was attacked by some animal, some large animal, and it bit off half his face. No exaggeration. It is truly the most grizzly thing I've personally seen happen to an animal. I'll spare you the details. Just pray for the kitty. Kitty means a lot to my son.

And pray for me too. My bank account is also sick a result of all Kitty's medical bills.

Prayers for his sweet little whiskers.

If animals heaven is here on earth, I'm glad you're his 'mommy'.

I feel so bad - prayers for all three of you. 2 weeks now since my cat died - I know how expensive the vet is. You better put your 'feeder-feed' donation button back up! Seriously.

St Gertrude of Nivelles, patron saint of cats and mice, please intercede for the well-being of this feline creature of God and for its owners. For as Christopher Smart once said, "he is the servant of the Living God, duly and daily serving him...."

And please pray for us that whatever animal hurt this cat will not hurt any other animal or human.

Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Having had 6 kids and literally dozens of pets, I can honestly say I feel your pain as a parent. God bless you...

I'd make a cat joke, but this morning I have to take our 10 month old west highland white terrier, (which at this point I'm often more fond of than our teenage sons) to the vet. She has nasty conjunctivitis.

For a dog guy to pray for a cat person, well, I almost feel like I'm violating Mortalium Animos. But of course, I'll gladly remember you, Kitty, and the Boy to the good Poverello, friend of all furry folks.

You have my prayers too... four weeks since my beloved Sylvester died, and three days since kitten Catzinger died, Furretti's off her food, and I'm feeling like the feline equivalent of Typhoid Mary...

We'll say a prayer to St. Francis for Kitty and one to St. Jude for your financial troubles.

We used to have an overweight kitty who would pick fights with neighbor cats and then get abscesses on her wounds because of her weight and inability to clean herself. I remember what it's like to have a poor kitty walking around looking mangled--in our case, half-shaved with a drainage tube sticking out of her side. I hope that your kitty gets well soon, and that your son is not too traumatized by kitty's injuries when he sees them.

Louise kitty passed from this earthy world back to the breath of God, her Creator, at 5:40 pm Mountain Time, October 31, 2010. Her earthly existence was 26 years.

She was in my arms as she returned to God.

May we meet again in the New Jerusalem.

Thank you Dear Jesus and all the saints and angels for your intercessions, that we were blessed with a few final moments together.

Cats leave pawprints forever on our hearts.
