Joy for me occurs when I have been able to forget myself in the sharing of another's happiness.

God's pursuing love and mercy bring me joy. He pursues me, even as I am often weak (seemingly, to me) in my pursuit of Him.

Knowing that in Baptism my soul was betrothed to the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity, that he renews the sacrifice of Calvary every day on millions of altars to plead for me, that he gives himself totally to me everyday in Holy Communion and that if I am faithfull he will one day slip a Wedding ring - a sign of eternal marriage onto my finger.
