Don't tell me you're going to get a mustache...
Kat - I speaka the Italian - I grew up in an Italian neighborhood and hung out in Italy for a long time. The Italians love it when you try to speak their laguage.Anyway - a wonderful phrase to use that you won't find in your guidebooks is - and I'll spell it how it sounds: 'Va fung ghoul' They just love it when Americans say that.Have a nice trip.
According to my dad (who is Italian) you should not follow Terry's advice (unless you really mean it).Good luck.
Good luck, Kat! (Bad Terry!) LOL!
Kat, Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT listen to Terry. As a kid, if I would have said that my mouth would have been washed out with soap, after being slapped in the face & before being grounded for a week by my Italiano-Americano Mama.PS Terry mispelled the last word.
Q. What do you call it when an Italian has one arm shorter than the other?A. A speech impediment. Have fun in Rome!
