I'm sorry but it cracks me up every time I see his name with his bachelors degree after it.Not knocking his degree, and I'm sure he more than earned it, but he's the only person I know that signs their name with a bachelors degree.
Good to see, concerning his degree , I used to think that as well ( I have a bach. theology but never thought to put it behind my name and thought he was odd to do so ) until I looked into it and from what I read the degree S.T.B at least if He got it here in the U.S.A. is eqiuv. to a Mdiv or graduate level degree . So i am going to assume that is why
The STB is a graduate degree equvalent to a M.A., a M. Div., or a M.T.S. It's the first of three ecclesiatical degrees in theology, the next two are the Licentiate of Sacred Theology and the Sacra Theologiae Doctor. The STB often takes anywhere from 3 to 5 years of work and you need to already have a BA, know Latin, another language, and at the very least maintain a 3.0 GPA. Don't think because it's called a bachelor's degree that's it is a simple college BA diploma, just a PhD or "doctorate" does not make you a physician (medical doctor). Do not collect $200 and go back to school!! :)
Loved this. Thanks for posting Michael's video, Kat!
Oh, well now it makes sense to put STB after his name.Doh, I should have known that considering I'm SoonerScotty, MTS...off to do the walk of shame.
