was it something I said...

... come on now, don't be shy. A better person wouldn't care that they were losing google readers like an aging man looses hair. I'm not a better person.

It must be all the sacrilegious content... that, and the coarse language. Or maybe it was the time I didn't finish that novena. Or when I lit a votive candle and didn't make a donation. No, it's probably because I wore pants to mass.

What? My denim jumper was at the cleaners.

Have you considered, it may be themselves that they are switching off to, not you, but something your words are exposing, within them?
I tend to squirm when truth tries to get at me, or shine it's light. It certainly doesn't 'feel' good, at first.

Anyway, I bet they still read you, even if they aren't showing up as following. I still read the blogs I moan about, they're my favourites hahaha!

I've had to give up Firefox almost entirely, and for some reason Internet Explorer is hanging on your site recently. Really loading slowly and not bringing it up. This demotivates visits, so I'm looking at the site less frequently. Just technical stuff.

for speed, nothing beats google chrome. I haven't used IE or firefox in ages.

I'm almost exclusively Google now: Google Chrome, Blogger, iGoogle, etc.

I think something weird is up because suddenly I had 4 times the number of visitors I normally get ( I might add, Miss Crescat, that I don't think you've ever been to my place, but I digress) and now I see things have trickled down to what I normally get. No change in followers, however, if that is what you are referring to, though I have heard at least one other blogger mention a drop in her following.

I'm leaving the light on and a place setting at the table for you.

For speed I used to prefer Black Dex when I could afford it - White Cross' really left me frazzled though.

Oh - that's off topic isn't it.

Yeah, so anyway - I lose readers and followers daily - people sign up one day and sometimes they drop me the very same day - probably after reading the archives.

When I saw that there were no muffins, I decided to stay anyway. Plus, I'm still waiting for you to post the picture of JPII wearing Bono's glasses.

My traffic ebbs and flows. I get more when I post things that are controversial or "offensive". Maybe it's because you've toned it down.

My traffic ebbs and flows as well (and I have much less of it than you do!). I know I go through phases of kind of hating and avoiding the internet and pretending it doesn't exist and then coming back with a vengeance.

You make me laugh so keep it coming.

I have to confess I come here rather infrequently ever sense your "read into more than a playboy in prison" (sic) comment.

Sorry if the fact that I remember that bothers you.

doesn't bother me at all.

Keep it real Crescat!

-35% for me.

Maybe I should try not wearing pants to Mass to see if that would improve readership. Does that work?

Draw a crazy Crescat drawing of Fr. Corapi or something. Or maybe more shitty art?

Maybe they can't afford you, lol!
